We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join the Catering Services team at the Royal Grammar School, Newcastle. Our catering team is at the heart of school life, preparing fresh, high‑quality meals for over 1,500 pupils and staff each day, as well as supporting a wide range of events throughout the year.

Working alongside a skilled and supportive team, you'll play a key role in delivering a professional, responsive and customer‑focused service, producing nutritious and varied meals that cater to a diverse community. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a busy team environment, and wants to contribute to a school where there's truly "more to life."

Working Hours:

  • 17.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday during term time)

Salary: The salary for this position is in the region of £24,853 gross per annum (Full Time Equivalent). Pro rata salary approx. £8.3k (14 hours) and £10.4k (17.5 hours) per annum.
