The Head Host/ess is responsible for leading and coordinating the guest greeting and seating function within Origin restaurant, ensuring the highest level of premium service, seamless guest flow and efficient table management. Manage waiting lists, the arrival experience and the seating rotation, communicating special requirements to the service team. Manage VIP arrivals, special occasions and service recovery situations in coordination with management.
Oversee all booking platforms (e.g., Open Table, Seven Rooms or applicable systems), ensuring reservations are accurate, updated and reflect real-time restaurant availability. Monitor booking pace, allocate time slots and adjust table plans throughout the shift to maximize guest flow and seat optimization. Supervise the Host/Hostess team.
