Band 5 Dietitians (Acute services) This is an exciting time to be working at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation one of the biggest NHS Trusts in the UK, delivering care to more than 1.6 million people a year through our three main hospitals: Barnet, Chase Farm and Royal Free. We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Dietitian, eager to increase their clinical skills in acute medicine, health services for the elderly and surgery, to join our dynamic acute services therapy team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. The posts will be integrated within multi-professional therapy teams to provide a dietetic service to a large range of inpatients, forming part of our Band 5 rotation program. With the support of their line manager & clinical supervisor, to be responsible for the dietetic management of all patients within the designated clinical area To deliver education and training to patients, carers and other healthcare professionals within the Trust To participate in departmental activities and working groups to contribute to service development To actively contribute to departmental research and audit projects Key Working Relationships Include And Are Not Limited To Internal (within the Trust) Medical Staff Nursing Staff Allied Health Professionals Patients and relatives/carers Non- medical Health care professionals Interpreters Students Trade Unions External (Outside the Trust) Community Care Services Acute Hospital Trusts Voluntary Staff Special Interest Groups Universities and other education providers Other health related agencies a The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK’s biggest and most innovative trusts.
