The Talent Set are delighted to be partnering with the Royal Free Charity to recruit an experienced Legacy manager to lead and grow the Legacy programme at a pivotal moment for the organisation. The Royal Free Charity supports over two million patients and 17,000 NHS staff across four hospitals and 30+ NHS services, funding life-changing equipment, research, staff wellbeing and patient care. With ambitious plans for growth including a forthcoming multi-million-pound cancer appeal, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
This role is responsible for developing and growing legacy income for the Royal Free Charity. It focuses on building a comprehensive legacy programme that encompasses strategy, marketing, and stewardship, ultimately securing long-term income to support the Royal Free Charity's vital work.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement the RFC's legacy fundraising strategy to significantly grow legacy income from a base of £1m per annum.
- Work with the Senior Individual Giving Manager to identify distinct legacy audiences and segments among supporters, understanding their characteristics and motivations to tailor marketing strategies accordingly.
- Work with the Senior Individual Giving Manager to develop compelling and powerful cases for support tailored to identified target audiences.
- Project manage the Legacy data project, a key organisational priority, to ensure that legacy data is effectively stored, reported and stewarded.
- Influence internal culture and ensure legacy messaging is included in all relevant communications.
About you
- Significant experience of Legacy fundraising.
- Extensive experience of legacy marketing.
- Experience of developing effective strategies and marketing plans to cultivate, retain and develop engagement.
- Proven track record of achieving targets and managing budgets.
Salary £45,000
Location: Hybrid – London (NW3, Hampstead) with 2 days per week in the office
Contract: Fixed-term, 12 months | Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
