A private household in Dubai is seeking a professional and service-oriented Butler to deliver exceptional day-to-day service to the family. The role focuses on food and beverage service, table service throughout the property, household coordination, and supporting the smooth operation of the home. The Butler will work closely with the Chef and other household staff while anticipating the family’s daily needs and ensuring the highest standards of presentation, organization, and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Food & Beverage Service
- Provide full food and beverage service for meals, snacks, and refreshments throughout the day
- Prepare hot and cold beverages, cocktails, and fresh juices
- Work alongside the Chef to prepare and propose food and beverage options throughout the day
- Be able to prepare breakfast and light meals when required
- Dining & Table Service
- Deliver professional table service in both indoor and outdoor dining areas
- Set up table settings and mise en place for daily meals and family events
- Ensure all tableware, linens, and service items are clean, prepared, and available in sufficient quantity
- Maintain high standards of presentation and service ware cleanliness
- Household Service Areas
- Maintain an organized butler’s service area and back-of-house kitchen
- Participate in daily cleaning of dining areas and other service spaces
- Carry out deep cleaning when required
- Inventory & Household Supplies
- Ensure beverages and service supplies are fully stocked, ordered, and inventoried
- Work with the Chef to ensure food stocks are maintained and produce is purchased according to the family's preferences
- Household Support
- Anticipate the family’s needs based on their daily agenda, weather, guests, and events
- Assist with packing for travel, wardrobe support for the gentleman, and household organization
- Ensure personal belongings and household areas remain tidy and well maintained
- Train and support housekeepers in table service and mise en place when required
- Communicate with the House Manager, Personal Assistant, Driver, and household staff to ensure smooth operations
- Work alongside staff across all service areas to support daily household activities
- Guest & Service Coordination
- Welcome family members and guests and ensure personal items are looked after
- Receive deliveries and packages, ensuring they are stored correctly and inventoried
- Welcome external service providers and ensure they are ready to deliver services as required
- Travel Support
- Travel with the family for holidays or business trips when required
- Assist with packing, unpacking, and travel logistics
- Liaise with hotel staff and rental agencies during travel
- Provide support during travel including shopping, excursions, and general organization
- Technical Skills
- Comfortable using computers, house management systems, and home technology including TV systems
Terms & Conditions
- Overtime: Paid after 8 hours in accordance with UAE labour law

Trial Period
A paid trial period of one week with the family will be required to ensure suitability for both parties. The trial may be extended if necessary. The trial may take place in the UAE or abroad. If conducted abroad, travel, accommodation, and a USD 50 daily meal allowance will be covered.
Employment handled by Connect Resources (UAE payroll entity). Visa and permits processed by the employer. Discretionary annual bonus AED 2,500 allowance paid in the 13th month and annually thereafter. Visa transfers or reapplications possible. Four daily pick-up/drop-off services from the nearest metro station.
