The Royal Exchange Theatre is seeking a proactive Events Coordinator to work alongside our Head of Commercial, Hospitality and Events to drive the sales, coordination and delivery of our venue hire and events. Acting as primary contact, the post holder will focus on converting venue hire enquiries into bookings, building strong client relationships and ensuring events are delivered to an exceptional standard.
Working closely with colleagues across the Theatre, they will play a key role in maximising commercial opportunities, supporting income generation targets and promoting the Royal Exchange Theatre as a leading venue for events in Manchester.
The successful candidate will have proven sales and operational experience within the events industry alongside excellent organisational and time management skills, strong communication and relationship skills, and knowledge of health & safety and food safety requirements. They will also have strong administrative and IT skills plus a commitment to working early mornings, evenings and weekends.
