Role Summary
We are seeking an Academic Clinical Doctor to join our team by September 2026 (subject to pre-employment checks). The post involves rotations at RDUH Plastics Department Sep - December and April - July which includes a 1 in 12 nights T&O and plastics on-call, a 1 in 5 long day plastics on-call and opportunity to be involved in clinics and lists. There will be a rotation December to April at the University of Exeter Medical School supporting undergraduate teaching. We aim to recruit as soon as possible, so may close the advertisement once we have candidates meeting the essential criteria.

We are seeking someone with GMC registration, NHS experience, a UK teaching qualification/experience and experience in plastic surgery and/or orthopaedics. Experience in the use of EPIC EPR is desirable.
Working Pattern:1 in 12 on-call night, 1 in 5 on-call long days plus NWDs
This is a fixed term contract until 31/07/2027. For current NHS employees this post could be a secondment opportunity.
