We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our welcoming Preparation for Surgery team as a Slot Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity to support our Clinical team, admin team and patients.

You must have the ability to use your own initiative and work well under pressure, together with being a reliable and proven team member. You will be working with a wide range of people and communicating with both patients and staff; therefore, empathy and patience are essential.

About the Role

You will be pivotal to the communication between our patients and our clinical staff - answering patient calls and queries, nurse queries, liaising with consultants, creating and changing clinics, booking out patient appointments and reception cover.

We are looking for someone who can work independently and thrives on building relationships with clinicians, staff and patients.

  • Reception Cover
  • Booking appointments from waiting lists
  • Creating and changing all clinics
  • Monitoring waiting times to review demands of clinic types
  • Providing assistance and support to other administrative and clinical members of the department or division, including managing telephone communications and addressing patient enquiries from patients, carers and visitors.

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday (hours and allocated days to be discussed at interview)
