Devon Sexual Health have an exciting opportunity for a full time Receptionist to join our friendly admin and clerical team based in our busy department at the NHS Walk-in Centre Exeter, providing reception support for Devon Sexual Health & the NHS Walk-in Centre service. This is a substantive vacancy for a full time Receptionist providing front of house reception & admin support to the clinical services based at the NHS Walk-in Centre in central Exeter.

About the Role

This is a front of house patient facing role and the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and customer care skills, the ability to multitask and be able to provide a warm, friendly and efficient reception service to visitors & patients. We strive to provide an inclusive and welcoming environment for our patients and the post holder must be non-judgemental and empathetic, demonstrating a positive self-motivated attitude, with the ability to remain calm and professional at all times.

The successful candidate will work within a team of admin and reception staff providing cover across 2 reception areas and will undertake a range of reception duties to support the clinical services. The ability to communicate professionally and sensitively with members of the public is essential for this busy role. Computer skills are desirable and training will be provided on electronic booking systems used within the service.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week worked on a shared rota basis to cover service opening hours. This will include some weekend and early evening shifts to support service opening hours.
