The post holder will work in alignment with our Gastroenterology team which consists of Consultants, ACP Pharmacists and Specialist Nursing staff. The primary aim of this role is to provide Specialist Pharmacy input to the Gastroenterology team, and support with the prescribing and monitoring of biologic medicines. As the role evolves there will naturally be opportunities for involvement with a wider breadth of Gastroenterology. We are a Trust that prides itself on the development of its people and will be able to offer specialist training in Gastroenterology, the opportunity for leadership training, involvement in research, teaching and the potential to shape and develop the role and service as a lead Pharmacist for Gastroenterology based at North Devon District Hospital (NDDH) in Barnstaple.
