More detail about the role This post provides a unique opportunity to join the pharmacy team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and provides an excellent opportunity to gain the necessary skills and knowledge to become a fully qualified Pharmacy Technician. Pre-registration pharmacy technicians are essential to the continuing development of the pharmacy team, and applications are invited from enthusiastic, hardworking, self-motivated people with good written and verbal communication skills. Previous pharmacy or customer service experience would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.

This is a two year fixed term apprenticeship which includes working in the hospital Pharmacy and day release (online remote learning) at college leading to a Level 3 qualification. (Diploma in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians). This is a nationally recognised qualification, which on completion will allow you to register as a Pharmacy Technician with The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
