The Royal Court Theatre invites six early-career directors to join its Assistant Directors' Pool for a one-year attachment, with access to paid roles and a £1,000 bursary to support engagement with the company. Selected candidates will have at least two professional director credits, experience on runs longer than a week, and familiarity with working with writers and new writing.
The scheme includes mentoring from the Resident Director and artistic team across the year, plus invitations to press.
