We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Specialty Doctor to join our award winning and dynamic Dermatology team at Royal Cornwall Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment, delivering high-quality care to patients across Cornwall.
Main duties of the job:
- Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of Dermatology patients.
- To share with colleagues responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Dermatology Department.
- Teaching and training of junior staff and medical students where applicable.
- To have responsibility for ensuring active participation in continuing medical education (CME).
- To actively participate in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and Audit.
- To attend meetings as appropriate.
- Fulfil duties of the weekly timetable, including acute work.
Person Specification:
- Qualifications: GMC Registration with a Full Licence to Practice; Attended appropriate Training courses.
- Experience: Wide experience in all aspects of Dermatology; Teaching (Medical students, peers, MDT); Experienced in Clinical Audit and Clinical Governance; To provide a range of services to complement the current skill mix of the department.
