Responsibilities
- To collect contaminated theatre sets in accordance with trusts/departmental procedures.
- To deliver sterilised theatre sets in accordance with trusts/departmental procedures.
- To work under supervision of the supervisor/process owner.
- To communicate effectively with work colleagues.
- To work flexibly as part of a team.
- To practice in accordance with the Trust's standards and statutory requirements.
- Contribute to the effective use of Trust resources.
- To contribute towards the development of best practice within the service to help and achieve high quality patient care.
- To provide and maintain a professional, efficient, effective and timely service with the collection and delivery of theatre sets to operating theatres throughout Cornwall.
This is a varied role requiring many different skills, for which we will provide full training.
Qualifications and requirements
- GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent.
- Willing to become familiar with many different locations within the trust.
- Previous Sterile Services experience is helpful although not essential.
- You must be able to communicate well, work within a team and take instructions.
