An exciting new opportunity has arisen within the Knowledge Spa team at the Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust for a Bank Facilities Coordinator. This role is to provide a range of facilities and support services to the students, staff and visitors to the Knowledge Spa.
Shift times: Mon‑Fri (8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 12:00 PM–8:00 PM).
Main duties of the job:
- To carry out tasks which are allocated by the Operations Supervisor which are legal, safe and reasonable in an efficient and professional manner.
- Check programme of events and plan the shift to ensure that all rooms (lecture theatre, seminar and meeting rooms and public areas) in the Knowledge Spa are set up correctly with the appropriate equipment, which may include tidying and moving furniture for meetings, provision of catering, equipment, etc., ready for the next planned activity.
- Monitor all activities taking place in the Knowledge Spa out of hours, including meetings, lectures, social events and deal with any issues or problems that arise.
- Sort, distribute and take charge of all mail, parcels and deliveries (supplies, stationery) to the Knowledge Spa including signing, sorting and distribution of deliveries.
- At the end of the evening shift ensure that the building is empty, all windows are shut, and all rooms are locked and secure. Activate the intruder alarm if required.
