This role is open to all applicants. We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our Critical Care Therapy MDT at Treliske Hospital in Truro.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessment and intervention to the critical care unit and follow‑up patients transitioning to other wards.
  • Work alongside a part‑time Band 7 Occupational Therapist, part‑time Band 6 Occupational Therapist and a Band 4 Therapy Support Worker.
  • Maintain an agreed caseload within the clinical specialism, performing advanced assessment of patients with highly complex presentations.
  • Formulate diagnoses and treatment plans as an autonomous practitioner.
  • Undertake line manager duties for the team.
  • Collaborate closely with Nursing, Medical and Psychologist colleagues.
  • Co‑coordinate with the AHP Urgent Care Manager, Therapy Lead and Occupational Therapy Professional Lead for planning, delivering and evaluating the service.
