At Royal Caribbean Cruises, we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice to join our UK team on an 18-month paid apprenticeship programme, starting on 1st September 2026. As a Department Apprentice with one of our teams, you will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and insight into various functions within our organisation. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and develop a broad skill set in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Areas of Experience (To be chosen upon application):
- Brands - Multi Department: Brand Management, Commercial Finance, Revenue Management, Marketing, Sales, Public Relations (PR), general business administration and customer services.
- IT Applications: Applications, operating systems and data, connected to our IT infrastructure.
- Marine Procurement: Sourcing, purchasing and managing goods and services essential for the operation, maintenance and safety of our ships.
At the end of the 18-month placement, you will gain a Level 3 Business Administration qualification, and you will have access to a number of support resources to support your personal and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Daily Operations: Support the team with administrative tasks, assist in scheduling and managing appointments, handle enquiries via phone, email and in-person, ADHOC duties including greeting all visitors and signing visitors into the building.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with colleagues and contribute to team goals and projects.
- Complete Assignments: Follow instructions and complete tasks accurately and within deadlines.
- Participate in Meetings: Attend and actively participate in meetings, providing input and feedback.
- Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of work completed and progress made.
- Adhere to Company Policies: Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Seek and Act on Feedback: Regularly seek feedback from supervisors and mentors and make improvements based on guidance.
Comprehensive training and guidance on all role responsibilities will be provided as part of the rotational programme.
Working Environment:
This is an office-based role from our Weybridge Surrey office. Working hours are 9am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday. You will be immersed into a culture of inclusivity, diversity and belongingness.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- GCSE or equivalent; currently enrolled in or recently completed A level or equivalent programme is desirable but not essential.
- A strong interest in learning about various business functions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding how to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work well in a team as well as independently.
- Willingness to enrol in an 18 Month Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship programme and complete end point assessments.
Please note, as part of the L3 qualification you will gain a broad knowledge of various functional skills such as Maths & English, as well as on-the-job support.
