Supervises the activities of the Casino gaming table such as Blackjack, American Roulette, Caribbean Stud Poker, Dice and related services by performing the following essential duties.
Hiring Requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) years dealer experience with Blackjack, American Roulette, Caribbean Stud Poker, Dice and other related table games (shipboard experience preferred).
- Ability to perform mental arithmetic calculations quickly involving monetary units and calculating odds and percentages.
- Ability to make decisions based on sound judgment regarding gaming rules and regulations.
- Ability to observe and recognize payout accuracy, Dealer behaviour and associated activities.
- Satisfactory completion of Gaming Board/Commission approved dealer school.
- Ability to utilise customer service skills by exercising authority and discretion to satisfy guests in a manner consistent with Celebrity Connections standards.
- Knowledge of policies and practices involved in the human resources function.
- Ability to supervise an international team of Dealers in a positive and productive manner by motivating, developing and managing employees as they work.
- Ability to utilise and administer the disciplinary action process through coaching and counselling to improve performance or recommend termination of employment.
- Ability to learn the financial aspects of a casino operation, including the successful identification of expense reduction through cost control.
- Demonstrated aptitude for the management of headcount within assigned area, as it relates to and supports the business needs of the vessel.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Working knowledge of computers, Internet access, and the ability to navigate within a variety of software packages such as Excel, Word, and related programs.
- Completion of high school or GED required; university degree preferred.
