We are seeking a dedicated professional to help ensure the RBVE remains fully compliant with all relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and internal governance standards. This role plays a vital part in safeguarding the charity’s integrity through expert interpretation of regulatory obligations, proactive monitoring, and the delivery of a robust internal audit function.
About the Governance & Compliance Team
The RBVE Governance and Compliance Team ensures the charity operates to the highest standards of statutory, regulatory, and internal governance. The team provides assurance that risks are effectively managed and that compliance is embedded across the organisation. We achieve this through:
- Legislative and regulatory monitoring
- Policy oversight and governance support
- Internal audit and assurance activity
- Expert advice and independent challenge to drive continuous improvement
Team Structure
- Director of Governance & Compliance – Provides strategic leadership and oversight of governance, risk, and organisational change.
- Regulatory Compliance & Assurance Manager – Leads on legislative compliance and internal audit, offering independent assurance and driving improvements across the charity.
- Governance Coordinator – Delivers essential administrative and coordination support, including policy management and action tracking.
Together, the team ensures a balanced and effective approach across strategic governance, operational delivery, and assurance.
