We are seeking a reliable and multi-skilled person to support repairs, grounds maintenance, and project works across the RBVE portfolio of properties in Kent and Sussex, including the grounds of the Royal British Veterans Village in Aylesford. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys varied work, takes pride in high standards, and can deliver excellent service in residential and community-based environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reactive maintenance — attending and resolving issues reported by tenants, residents, or clients
  • Planned works — completing scheduled maintenance, minor refurbishments, and small project works
  • Health & safety compliance — ensuring all work meets regulatory and organisational standards
  • Workload management — organising materials, tools, and job sheets effectively
  • Customer service — providing a respectful, supportive service to residents, including veterans and vulnerable individuals

About You

  • Experience in general maintenance, grounds work, or multi-trade roles
  • Confident diagnosing and resolving issues independently
  • Strong awareness of health & safety and safe working practices
