We're expanding our team and looking for a Part Time Care Assistant to join us at Mais House. This role offers night shifts, including weekend working 24 hours per week. Night shifts will include an additional Night Allowance of £0.95 per hour.
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate care to our residents, many of whom have served in the Armed Forces. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with personal care
- Supporting residents with their daily routines
- Ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times
- Helping with mobility, nutrition, and medication as required
- Working closely with colleagues to provide a safe, welcoming environment
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
