The predicted salary is between 29 - 31 £ per hour.

A new opportunity for a Chef to work in the kitchen at Halsey House. We have a 35 hour per week contract available with a work pattern of 5 over 7 days rota including weekend and bank holiday shifts. Salary £14.39 to £14.96 per hour (includes market supplement).

You will work with the Head Chef to deliver the catering services within the home, maintaining a high standard of food provision and service to the residents, staff and visitors. Educated to NVQ 3 Cooking or equivalent and an immediate food hygiene certificate, you will have experience of catering management in a care home or similar environment for a large number of people and experience of catering to meet special dietary requirements.

In addition, you will be an effective communicator and have experience of leading a team and the management of stock control. Previous experience of maintaining standards within the Catering Department according to Health & Safety and Food Safety Act and good IT skills are essential.
