Are you an experienced medical Registered Nurse? Join Team UK and play a vital role in supporting wounded, injured and sick serving personnel and veterans as they prepare for and compete in the Invictus Games. We are looking for a compassionate, adaptable and experienced registered Nurse to support the planning, management and delivery of nursing services within a multi-sport environment. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to an inspiring programme that changes lives through sport, recovery and teamwork.
As our Team UK Nurse, you will be part of a dedicated multidisciplinary medical team delivering high-quality nursing care throughout the Team UK programme, including preparation camps and the Games themselves.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality nursing services as part of the Team UK medical team
- Provide safe, effective and responsive nursing care to participants and staff
- Maintain effective communication pathways while ensuring GDPR and confidentiality compliance
- Work in accordance with recognised professional standards and NMC codes of practice
- Collaborate closely with coaches, Royal British Legion staff and the wider Team UK medical team
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive and athlete-centred environment
