Are you an experienced Learning and Development (L+D) Specialist within care and a service-based environment? This is a hands-on L&D role where your expertise will directly support frontline teams delivering care to our beneficiaries. As Learning & Development Partner, you'll support the delivery of learning across Royal British Legion care homes, community services and specialist teams. Working with the Learning & Development Manager, you'll help implement the RBL Learning Programme, ensuring learning is engaging, compliant and aligned to organisational priorities. You'll design and deliver blended learning that builds capability, supports regulatory requirements and enables frontline teams to deliver high-quality care and support. Through collaboration and continuous improvement, you'll help ensure learning is effective, accessible and makes a meaningful difference. For this role we are specifically looking for candidates who have experience within a care home, health, social care, or regulated service environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver impactful learning programmes across virtual, face-to-face and blended formats, aligned to the 70:20:10 model and organisational priorities.
  • Lead the development and management of mandatory and statutory training, ensuring compliance with legislation, sector standards and professional requirements.
  • Create and commission high-quality learning solutions, including developing in-house resources and managing external training providers.
  • Partner with service teams, SMEs and stakeholders to understand needs, carry out learning needs analysis and design targeted interventions.
  • Support care and practice development activity, including coaching, apprenticeships, preceptorship pathways and ongoing professional development.
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness, using data and insight to measure impact, identify improvements and inform future learning decisions.
  • Stay up to date with sector, regulatory and best-practice developments, ensuring learning content remains current, relevant and compliant.

You will be contracted to our Haig House hub with a minimum expectation of two days per week working in person at the hub and flexibility for working remotely/at home when not on site.
