Are you an experienced and passionate Soft Tissue Therapist looking to make a meaningful impact through sport, recovery, and rehabilitation? We are looking for two dedicated Soft Tissue Therapists to join the Team UK medical support team for the Invictus Games programme. This is a unique opportunity to work within a multi-sport environment supporting wounded, injured, and sick serving personnel and veterans as they prepare for and compete at the Invictus Games Birmingham 2027.
As our Soft Tissue Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality soft tissue therapy services to participants during preparation camps and throughout the Invictus Games programme. Your expertise will help promote recovery, enhance performance, and reduce injury risk for athletes across multiple sports. One therapist within the team will also be selected to attend the Invictus Games and provide on-site support during competition.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver safe, effective, and athlete-centred soft tissue therapy services as part of the Team UK medical team.
- Provide soft tissue support and expertise across all Team UK sports as required.
- Support athletes with pre-event preparation and post-event recovery interventions where appropriate.
- Promote recovery strategies and contribute to reducing injury risk within a high-performance sporting environment.
