The Royal British Legion is seeking an exceptional and experienced HCPC registered Physiotherapist to join the Team UK Invictus Games programme as our Team UK Physiotherapist. This is a unique opportunity to play a leading role in supporting wounded, injured and sick serving personnel and veterans through the power of sport and rehabilitation. We are looking for four Team UK Physiotherapists to be responsible for delivering high quality physiotherapy and medical support as part of the RBL Team UK Invictus Games programme.
You will support the planning and provision of physiotherapy services for Team UK participants at preparation training camps promoting recovery and reducing injury risk. Working within a dynamic multi-sport environment, you will ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality physiotherapy support at training camps and during the Invictus Games themselves.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality athlete-centred care within a multi-sport environment
- Support injury prevention, recovery and rehabilitation strategies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during preparation camps and at the Games
- Contribute to athlete wellbeing and performance throughout the programme
Two Physiotherapists within the team will also be selected to attend the Invictus Games and provide on-site support during competition.
