We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join our dedicated team at Lister House Care Home in Ripon, North Yorkshire on a casual basis. We are currently only able to consider applications from candidates who have the legal right to work in the UK. We are unable to sponsor visas.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality food and beverage services
- Assist the catering team in preparing restaurant‑quality meals for beneficiaries, visitors, and staff
- Organise and maintain a clean and tidy kitchen environment at all times
- Support the Catering Supervisor with the daily operations of our dining rooms and bar, ensuring that everyone receives excellent service
- Provide catering support for special functions, open days, meetings, and events
Qualifications and Experience
- Passion for good food, excellent service and a caring nature
- Experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is desirable
- Ability to work as part of a team and support the Catering Supervisor
- Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the care home
