We’re expanding our team and are looking for a Care Assistant to join us at Dunkirk Memorial House. This role offers 36 hours per week, with shifts between 07:45 and 19:45 Monday to Sunday. Salary £13.41 - £13.62 per hour.

As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate care to our residents, many of whom have served in the Armed Forces. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with personal care
  • Supporting residents with their daily routines
  • Ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times
  • Helping with mobility, nutrition, and medication as required
  • Working closely with colleagues to provide a safe, welcoming environment
  • Maintaining accurate care records
  • Communicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
