The predicted salary is between 14.39 - 14.96 £ per hour.
A new opportunity for a Chef to work in the kitchen at Halsey House. We have a 35 hour per week contract available with a work pattern of 5 over 7 days rota including weekend and bank holiday shifts.
You will work with the Head Chef to deliver the catering services within the home, maintaining a high standard of food provision and service to the residents, staff and visitors. Educated to NVQ 3 Cooking or equivalent and an immediate food hygiene certificate, you will have experience of catering management in a care home or similar environment for a large number of people and experience of catering to meet special dietary requirements.
Previous experience of maintaining standards within a Catering Department according to Health & Safety and Food Safety Act and good IT skills are essential. Effective communication and team leadership skills, as well as experience of stock control management, are required.
