The predicted salary is between 14 - 15 £ per hour.
£14.39 to £14.96 per hour (includes market supplement). A new opportunity for a Chef to work in the kitchen at Halsey House. We have a 35‑hour per week contract available with a work pattern of 5 over 7 days rota, including weekend and bank holiday shifts.
You will work with the Head Chef to deliver the catering services within the home, maintaining a high standard of food provision and service to the residents, staff and visitors.
Education to NVQ 3 Cooking or equivalent, plus an immediate food hygiene certificate. You will have experience of catering management in a care home or similar environment for a large number of people, and experience of catering to meet special dietary requirements. Lead and manage a team, control stock, and communicate effectively.
Previous experience of maintaining standards within a Catering Department according to Health & Safety and the Food Safety Act is essential, as are good IT skills.
