Join a friendly and creative team who are passionate about engaging under‑represented communities with the wonder of Kew’s collections, science, heritage, horticulture and collections. This role will focus on coordination of the Discovery programme, which provides accessible learning opportunities in the Gardens. Through coordination of Kew’s Access Forum, you will also support increased accessibility to Kew Gardens for wider visitors.

The successful candidate will be joining the team at an exciting time, with the opportunity to think strategically about the future development of the programme. This is a rewarding position for a flexible and collaborative individual. You will be passionate about providing nature‑based activities for people with access requirements and have experience of project management and volunteer management. You will have knowledge of best practice around accessibility and experience of developing informal learning sessions.

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check. The role is based at Kew Gardens with the option of regular home working (up to 40% of working hours) subject to operational requirements. It will involve some weekend working and occasional evenings. The position will be on a fixed‑term contract initially, but we anticipate that this will be extended, subject to confirmation of funding. The role is an established and important position at Kew.
