We have an exciting opportunity for team members to join our Guildhall Events Team! This is a casual role located at the Guildhall in Windsor, offering an hourly rate of £13.32 per hour (£15.16 inclusive of holiday pay).

This is an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic Guildhall Event Support Casual Staff to join our Guildhall sales and events team.

The role reports to the Guildhall Sales & Events Coordinator and will be part of a busy team delivering weddings and events at the historic Guildhall in Windsor.

Your role will involve:

  • Assisting with the set-up of the Council Chamber/ Ascot Room for weddings/events – this could mean moving tables and chairs and other equipment
  • Meeting and greeting clients
  • Serving drinks to clients
  • Clearing the room post wedding/ event (collecting glasses and setting up room for next event)
  • Washing and drying glasses post wedding/ event

What we are looking for:

  • You must be confident dealing with members of the public and a good communicator.
  • You must be willing to work as part of a small team to deliver excellent customer service to our clients.
  • The Guildhall is a Grade 1 Listed building set out over three floors and therefore you must be physically fit enough to go up and down the stairs several times during events to access the kitchen.
  • Setting up of the event space will require some manual handling of tables and chairs.
