Rough Sleeping Resettlement Officer
This is a full-time, permanent role and a salary of £34,962 - £38,791 per annum.
The role
You will provide essential support to individuals experiencing homelessness, focusing on rough sleepers, hospital discharges, ex‑offenders, and vulnerable complex customers.
Your primary objective is to help them access the fastest route off the streets. The successful candidate will also join Outreach sessions during early morning (5‑9 am) to target sleeping rough and support engagement with available services.
The role requires a proactive individual who promotes an innovative approach to problem solving and can provide high quality support and guidance to a multi‑disciplinary team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant experience in outreach work or a related field (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in providing support to individuals experiencing homelessness with complex needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with cultural sensitivity and empathy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in relevant software and data management systems
- Fluency in languages other than English is a plus
- Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and data protection
