We have an exciting opportunity for a Public Health Programme Manager to join us! This is a full‑time, permanent role with hybrid working, and a salary range of £44,355–£48,446 per annum.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Programme Manager to join our Public Health team.
The Role: The Public Health Programme Manager will support the Public Health Senior Management Team to deliver a portfolio of public health programmes and projects set within the strategic context of the public health service plan, encompassing the Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy and Council Plan priorities. This will include management supervision of 4 programme officers to ensure all programmes and projects are well managed and deliver outcomes and objectives set within the public health service plan. You will achieve success in these roles by forming close partnerships with both internal and external agencies across a variety of sectors. The role will report directly to the Deputy Director of Public Health and within a matrix management arrangement to the Public Health Head of Contracts and Commissioning.
Your role will involve:
- Playing a key role in delivering a wide range of initiatives aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of residents across the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, working collaboratively with the team to deliver the Public Health Service Plan and the Joint Health & Wellbeing Strategy.
- Driving delivery by managing a high‑performing team of Public Health Programme Officers, ensuring contracts are managed effectively and commissioned services achieve measurable outcomes.
- Providing an opportunity to build on your existing skills and experience across all areas of Public Health.
