This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Planning Support officer to join our Planning & Building Control Support team.
The Role
This is a challenging position within a busy Planning and Building Control Support team responsible for the initial registration of planning and Building Control applications. The main responsibilities for this position will include the scanning, uploading and redaction of planning application documents. In addition, the Planning Support officer will be dealing with the recording and banking of planning fees, copying and retrieval of planning documents and microfiche, incoming post and filing. The successful candidate would also be required to provide additional cover in the administration of planning appeals, registration of planning and Building Control applications and issuing of planning decisions. Full training and support will be provided in all areas of Planning Support, and this will include the raising and processing of invoices and purchase orders.
Your Role Will Involve
- Uploading, labelling and redaction of planning documents
- Providing support on the administration of Planning Appeals
- Providing support on the registration and notification of planning and Building Control applications and issuing of planning decisions
