We have an exciting opportunity for a Premises Manager, Operational Assets to join us! This is a full-time, permanent hybrid role with a salary of £34,962 - £38,791 per annum.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Premises Manager, Operational Assets to join our Property Services team.
The Role: Reporting to the Corporate Estate & Facilities Manager, the Premises Manager, Operational Assets, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management, inspection and maintenance of a varied portfolio of operational assets including car parks and public conveniences across the borough. This is a practical and varied role where you will coordinate inspections, manage reactive and planned maintenance works and work closely with contractors and council services to ensure assets remain safe, compliant and operational. You will play an important role in supporting the council’s Corporate Landlord approach by ensuring building related issues are identified, prioritised and resolved effectively.
Your role will involve:
- Undertaking inspections across operational assets including car parks and public conveniences
- Identifying maintenance issues, building defects and health and safety concerns
- Coordinating planned and reactive maintenance works through contractors and specialist advisers
- Monitoring contractor performance and maintaining accurate inspection and maintenance records
- Working collaboratively with Property Services, Parking Services and other council teams to resolve operational asset issues
What we are looking for:
- Experience of managing building maintenance, inspections or operational property activities
- Experience of coordinating contractors and maintenance works across multiple sites
- Good understanding of health and safety and statutory compliance requirements relating to buildings
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and respond to operational issues
- Ability to work independently, identify problems and take ownership of resolving them
