  • Managing the reception desk, including issuing visitor passes and handling day to day enquiries.
  • Coordinating desk and meeting room bookings, making sure spaces are ready and set up as needed.

  • Providing front of house support at civic and democratic events, ensuring the Town Hall is presented at its best.

What We Are Looking For

  • Someone who enjoys meeting people and can create a welcoming, professional first impression.
  • Strong organisational skills, able to juggle bookings, enquiries and admin without losing focus.
  • Confidence with basic IT systems (emails, booking software, visitor management tools), training will be given where needed.
  • A calm, helpful approach when things get busy or unexpected issues pop up.
  • Flexibility to work as part of a rota and provide support for occasional civic or evening events.

What We Offer

  • 32 days annual leave
  • Generous Local Government Pension scheme includes life cover (3 times of annual salary); and an Additional Voluntary Contribution (AVC) scheme to enhance your pension provision.
  • Free employee parking close to the offices.
  • Give As You Earn scheme.
  • Instant Reward Scheme to recognise and reward innovative achievement.
