We are seeking to appoint a part-time morning caretaker who will be responsible for opening the school, undertaking maintenance duties and looking after the school premises under the direction of the Headteacher.

You will be working alongside our existing afternoon caretaker to oversee the security of the site, be a key holder, and manage the Health and Safety of the site for which training will be given.

Maintenance duties may include:

  • basic plumbing and carpentry
  • general DIY work
  • gardening
  • painting tasks

We are looking for someone who is able to juggle priorities, be flexible and have the ability to work within a team. You will be physically fit and able to work under your own initiative.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check for the successful candidate.
