About The Role And Our Ideal Candidate
What you’ll do
- Lead on challenging building control cases, from domestic projects to high-rise and mixed-use schemes.
- Carry out plan assessments, site inspections, enforcement actions, and dangerous structures work.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to support team development.
- Work closely with residents, developers, and partners to ensure compliance with Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act 2022.
What we’re looking for
- Degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience) in Building Control, Surveying, Construction, or Structural Engineering.
- Professional membership (RICS, CABE, CIOB or equivalent) and commitment to CPD.
- Significant experience in Building Control, including complex commercial and residential schemes.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, customer-focused approach.
