About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Housing Officer with a minimum of 2 years' experience in general needs housing management. The successful candidate will work on‑site 4 days a week with 1 day working from home and attend the weekly housing surgery on Tuesdays at Queen Mary Hall.
Responsibilities
- Deliver integrated housing service to tenants and leasehold customers, working closely with other teams, councilors and resident associations to achieve sustainable tenancies.
- Provide proactive, customer‑focused housing management across a designated area, ensuring the council meets legal and contractual obligations.
- Act as a visible presence on Cambridge Road Estate, ensuring neighbourhood safety and maintenance, and providing advice, information and reports on housing matters.
- Champion resident and community engagement and involve residents in estate improvement plans.
Reporting & Structure
The role reports to the Lead Officer, Tenancy Services for Landlord Services and has no line management responsibility.
