Job Description
Be a calm, warm presence for the North Kensington community – and help organise a skilled team to provide support
As the Team Coordinator for the Grenfell Education Hub, you'll be a vitally important part of creating an atmosphere where children and families feel welcomed and supported. Every individual you meet will be impacted in some way by the Grenfell Tower tragedy. Therefore, your empathy, professionalism, and efficiency will be crucial in setting the tone, helping children and families to feel this is a space for them.
Working Style:
You'll be based in the Borough for five days a week, playing a key role in serving the local community. You'll be part of a dedicated team making a real difference to residents' lives.
What you'll be doing:
You'll be the first point of contact for families, visitors and professionals – offering not just a welcome, but reassurance. Whether you're coordinating a meeting, preparing for a workshop, or simply making someone feel seen on a difficult day, you'll help make the Hub feel like a place where people belong.
Behind the scenes, you'll help everything run smoothly. From managing diaries and agendas to supporting events and maintaining accurate records, your work will provide the quiet infrastructure that allows the team to do what they do best. You'll also support administrative processes, track key data, and contribute to ongoing improvements – ensuring the Hub remains efficient, safe and centred around care.
This is a varied and emotionally rich role. Some days will be challenging. But every task – no matter how practical – plays a part in helping families and young people step into futures that are not constrained by trauma, but open to hope and ambition.

What you'll bring
You'll be an organised, proactive person who understands that good coordination is about more than logistics – it's about people. You'll have experience in busy administrative settings and confidence using Microsoft Office and other systems to stay on top of tasks.
Equally important is your ability to communicate with warmth and clarity – to meet others with calm, kindness and professionalism, whatever the circumstances. You'll understand safeguarding, confidentiality and the importance of adapting to meet the emotional needs of those around you.
You'll be someone who finds meaning in getting things right – someone who notices, who supports, who brings consistency and care. And you'll believe, as we do, that families affected by Grenfell deserve not just efficient services, but spaces that restore trust and make aspiration feel possible again.

You'll join a kind, collaborative team committed to relational, restorative practice and long-term community healing. We offer a competitive salary and are fully committed to your professional development, with training and growth opportunities throughout your time with us.
We know that not everyone will tick every box – and we welcome applications from people whose values align with our mission. If you're committed to supporting a community beyond crisis, and to building futures shaped by choice and strength, we'd love to hear from you.
