The Role:

We are now seeking an experienced and dedicated Co-ordinator to support the day-to-day delivery of our SEND projects and Post 16 Sufficiency action plan. Working alongside the Development Manager (SEND Employability), you’ll play a key role in driving forward this exciting initiative.

What you’ll do:

Based within the County Council’s Participation and Lifelong Learning service, you’ll collaborate with a wide range of partners—including parents, education providers, employers, and internal teams—to transform Hampshire’s employability offer for young people with SEND.

We’re looking for someone who is a passionate advocate for young people with SEND and who shares our vision for inclusive progression into adulthood and employment. You’ll bring proven experience in project coordination and working across multiple agencies, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to build strong, effective relationships. Your ability to influence and negotiate will be key to delivering complex initiatives, and you’ll have a solid understanding of the education and training landscape, Supported Employment principles, and the needs of young people with SEND.
