An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Highway Technician to join our Highways Delivery team at Hampshire County Council. As a Highway Technician, you will be assisting engineers in delivering a large variety of highway repairs throughout Hampshire as well as dealing with highway emergencies, adverse weather response and highway enforcement to enable the efficient use of Hampshire’s highway network. You will have the ability to fulfil the travel requirements of the role (you will be required to travel to various locations within Hampshire and it is essential that you have a full current UK drivers’ licence and access to a reliable vehicle on a regular basis), and, as required, be able to work out of hours to respond to weather and other emergencies.
