Overview
Join Hampshire’s School Crossing Patrol Service and help keep children and families safe on journeys to and from school. This is a rewarding and highly visible role that promotes road safety and makes a positive difference daily.
Responsibilities
- Cross roads at designated crossing points during busy school run times, ensuring pedestrians are protected and traffic is managed with care and confidence.
- Be a calm and reassuring presence in the local community to support safe travel for children and other pedestrians.
- Work 10 hours per week during school term time (typically one hour in the morning and one in the afternoon).
- Receive a supplied uniform for all weather protection and be part of a valued team delivering a real community impact.
