Job Purpose
The successful candidate will maintain and develop the force’s archive of operational and corporate forms, ensuring they are up-to-date and support the requirements of operational policing.
Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
1. To maintain the force’s current library of Standard Forms, making any required amendments to the forms as processes or information requirements change.
2. To maintain an up-to-date database of Standard Form owners, and a comprehensive list of the forms they own across the force.
3. To liaise proactively and effectively with Standard Form owners across the force so that requirements for new forms, and for changes, are understood and assessed as early as possible.
4. To ensure requests for new forms are properly assessed, and where possible mitigated.
5. To develop and implement new processes and technical solutions to improve the efficiency of Standard Form creation and updating.
6. To work with Standard Form owners to identify and implement opportunities to reduce the number of Standard Forms, where appropriate migrating information into digitalised solutions (including but not limited to Niche and MS Forms).
7. To support future solutions that succeed Standard Forms.
The role holder may be required to visit other locations within Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, and therefore needs to have the ability to travel as necessary
