Responsibilities

  • Manage a team developing policies and projects to promote the Council’s corporate approach to sustainability.
  • Plan and manage reporting on the Council’s delivery programme and the Council’s Carbon Neutral Plan.

Qualifications

  • Degree level education or equivalent with relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience of the formulation, development and delivery of overarching/holistic sustainability strategies and programmes.
  • Experience of partnership working with public agencies, private and community sectors.
  • Experience of managing operational and project-based budgets.
  • Ability to lead and manage staff teams.
