Responsibilities
- Manage a team developing policies and projects to promote the Council’s corporate approach to sustainability.
- Plan and manage reporting on the Council’s delivery programme and the Council’s Carbon Neutral Plan.
Qualifications
- Degree level education or equivalent with relevant work experience.
- Proven experience of the formulation, development and delivery of overarching/holistic sustainability strategies and programmes.
- Experience of partnership working with public agencies, private and community sectors.
- Experience of managing operational and project-based budgets.
- Ability to lead and manage staff teams.
