Greenwich Living Options (GLO) Health and Adult Social Care (HAS), Provider Service, Learning Disability Provisions Support Workers are seeking to fill several roles to help deliver a new vision for Health and Adults Services (HAS), in in‑house provisions for adults with learning disabilities and autism.

You will receive a comprehensive induction into the requirements of the role, and care staff will be expected to complete the 16 Care Certificate standards within 6 months as part of their probationary period. We seek motivated and enthusiastic individuals who can effectively support and understand the needs of residents with a learning disability and autism, covering all aspects of their care.
You will work with residents using a strength‑based approach to ensure their recreational, spiritual, social, and emotional aspirations are a focus of their care, recognising potential opportunities for building resilience and independence. It is important that you have good observational, listening, planning, communication, and recording skills, and thrive in a team environment.
You will work with residents to ensure they achieve their full potential within a framework of choice, inclusion, and independence. As a Support Worker, you will enable residents to express their rights, choices, and aspirations while ensuring the highest standard of care is maintained in accordance with Royal Greenwich Council and Greenwich Living Options policies, procedures, and CQC Fundamental Standards.

Salary: Salaries advertised are for a standard working week of 35 hours unless otherwise stated.
