We want to ensure that in Greenwich, people’s health, care, learning, wellbeing, and relationships support them in living their best lives. To do this, Royal Greenwich Integrated Commissioning are looking for a Strategic Partnerships and Grants Lead with experience in co-producing services with communities, excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills and a desire to make a difference in Greenwich. Through developing strong partnerships and utilising appropriate governance structures, you’ll lead on grant-funding programmes that support Greenwich children, young people and their families to lead healthy, fulfilling and independent lives.

The Royal Borough of Greenwich run a number of programmes for children and families funded through grants. This ranges from our Holiday Activities and Food Programme to those provided through our youth and family offers. This role will lead on the delivery of these, working to develop a partnership of strong local provision to ensure high quality and outcome focused provision for children.

Responsibilities

No two days will look the same in this varied and exciting new role, with opportunities to shape delivery of community-based programmes and develop your career in commissioning. You will lead, develop and facilitate the strategic partnerships between Integrated Commissioning, the Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector (VCFS) and key stakeholders including children, to enable successful delivery of commissioned and grant-funded services. Specifically, you’ll have oversight and management of the delivery of the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme, to ensure the delivery of safe, high quality, grant-funded provision that benefits children and families in Greenwich. This won’t be all, as you’ll develop the local VCFS provider market through collaboration and relationship building to improve quality and build capacity in the local sector.

This role requires an Enhanced DBS with Children's barred list.
