Position Overview
Grade: PO5
Employment Term: Fixed‑Term 18 months
Hours: 35 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Manage a team developing policies and projects to promote the Council’s corporate approach to sustainability.
- Plan and manage reports on the council’s delivery programme and Carbon Neutral Plan.
Qualifications
- Education: degree level or equivalent with relevant work experience.
- Proven experience of the formulation, development and delivery of overarching/holistic sustainability strategies and programmes.
- Experience of partnership working with public agencies, private and community sectors.
- Experience of managing operational & project based budgets.
- Ability to lead and manage staff teams.
