At the heart of this transformation is a new leadership vision, and we’re looking for a Practice Development Lead to help bring it to life.
About The Role
This is not just another job — it’s a chance to lead, influence, and innovate. As our Practice Development Lead, you’ll be a key driver of quality, learning, and professional development across adult social care. You’ll:
- Champion strengths-based, person-centred practice through robust quality assurance and case file audits.
- Lead on continuous professional development for social workers, OTs, and social care staff — from ASYE to apprenticeships and beyond.
- Design and deliver engaging workshops, reflective forums, and learning resources that inspire and inform.
- Collaborate across Health and Adult Services including frontline teams, provider services, and partner agencies to embed best practice and drive improvement.
- Embrace digital innovation and new technologies to enhance practice and learning.
- Support the development of our Social Care Practice Academy and career pathways.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a qualified social worker with:
- Extensive experience in adult social care and post-qualifying accredited training.
- Practice Educator training and a passion for supporting learners.
- A confident, creative approach to quality assurance, mentoring, and training delivery.
- The ability to work across boundaries — with operational teams, partners, providers, and residents.
- A commitment to co-production, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
